In this article we’ll learn how to approve expenses that have been submitted by employees during a shift, but you’ll need to set up expense categories in Boomr first!
Please note that all expenses must be approved before they will appear in an expense report.
Employees can submit expenses to any expense category from the Boomr mobile app or via the web dashboard. All submitted expenses are submitted as pending and will appear in the Expenses tab.
To approve expenses, Sign In to your Boomr account and click on the Expenses tab. For each employee expense you will see the date the expense was submitted, the employee name, the location, the category of the expense, and the amount of the expense. Use the Filters on the left-side menu to sort the table by status, employee or expense category.
Once you’ve reviewed expenses, select any you wish to approve by clicking on the box to the left of the row. Once all expenses are selected, click on the ‘Approve Expenses’ button at the top of the screen.
You can now run a report for all approved expenses from the Reports tab. To do this, click on ‘Reports’ in your main menu and then click on ‘Expenses’ on the left side of the screen.
Next, select the date range of expenses you’d like to include in the report and then click the ‘Run Report’ button to view your report or click on the green download arrow to download your report as a CSV file.
