Boomr makes time tracking easy and Boomr reports give you access to your data in a variety of ways. Learn more below. ***Note - Hours worked by deactivated employees will be included in all reports.

Time sheet Report

The time sheet report allows you to view employee hours for any date range. To view hours organized by employee, select the time sheet report from the drop down in the banner or from the list on the left side of the screen. 

Boomr will default to organizing hours by work week and will allow you to quickly move from one work week to another over the last 90 days by choosing them from the work week drop down. Selecting a new work week will update the report automatically. 

You can also choose to filter the report to include only approved shifts, only pending shifts, or both. 

In addition, you can run the time sheet report for a custom date range. To do so, click on ‘Show by date range’ and then use the date picker to select a range. Once you’ve selected your range, click on ‘Run Report’.

Finally, the time sheet report can be reorganized to show your data by location rather than by employee. To do so, click on the first filter and change it from “Show Employees” to “Show Locations”. You can learn more about Boomr locations here.

You can download the time sheet report by clicking on the checkbox next to the row you’d like to download and then clicking on the green download arrow.

Payroll Report

The payroll report allows you to see hours and pay rates for all employees in your account. Only approved hours appear in the payroll report. 

To run a payroll report, first select it from the drop down in the banner or from the list on the left side of the screen. Choose the dates you’d like to include in the payroll report and then click on ‘Run Report’. After a few moments, the report will be added to the table below. If you have any approved shifts that fall within the date range of the payroll report, you’ll be asked to confirm that you’d like to proceed with the report. Any “pending” shifts will not be included in the report.

In the table you’ll see summary data for the payroll report. This data includes totals of all hours worked and wages for the report. You can click on the row of any report to bring up additional detail. The details window will show hours worked by each employee and total wages for the pay period. It will also show each shift worked during the date range and any approved time off that falls within the date range.

Unlike the time sheet report, the payroll report creates a static report in your account that can be downloaded and reviewed or saved for later. You can download the payroll report as a CSV file by clicking the checkbox next to the report you wish to download and then the download button. You can also delete a payroll report . Click on the checkbox and then on the trash can icon.

Time Off Report

The time off report includes all approved time off hours in a given date range. To run the time off report, select it from the drop down in the banner or from the list on the left side of the page.

You can filter the time off report by time off category or view all time off regardless of category. By default all categories will be included. Click on the drop down to select a single category. Then use the date picker to select a date range. If you are a Business Tier customer, you can also filter the time off report to only show time off for a chosen office or for all offices in your account. Finally, click on ‘Run Report’. 

Once you’ve run the report, you can click on any row to bring up additional detail for that employee. You can also download the report for any employee by clicking on the checkbox next to their name and then on the download arrow.

Overtime Report

The overtime report shows all overtime earned by your employees for a given date range. To run an overtime report, select the date range you’d like to view and then click on ‘Run Report’. Like the payroll report, this will generate a static report that can be viewed, downloaded, or saved for later. 

Each row in the table will show summary data for its date range. You can view additional detail by clicking on the row. You can download a report either by clicking on it’s row and then click on download, or by clicking on its checkbox and then clicking on the download arrow.

Projects Report

The Projects Report includes all hours added to projects in a given date range. To run a project report, choose the date range you would like to view and click on ‘Run Report’. To learn more about how to track time to projects, click here.

You can click on any row in the project report to bring up additional detail.

Expenses Report

The Expenses Report includes all approved expenses for a given date range. To run an expense report choose the date rage you would like to view and click on ‘Run Report’. To learn more about expense tracking in Boomr, click here.

Invoices

Boomr invoices allow you to generate an invoice to bill a client for hours spent at a location. Each location in Boomr has the option of being set to “billable”. When you set a location as billable, you’ll also assign a billable rate. That rate will be assigned to all hours worked at that location for invoicing (this may be different than the hourly rate you pay your employees).

To run the invoice report, choose the date range you’d like to produce an invoice for and then click on ‘Run Report’. Next choose the locations that you’d like to produce invoices for. The new invoices will appear in the table below. You can click on any row to edit the rate or hours in an invoice or simply to view additional detail.

To download an invoice, click on the checkbox next to the invoice you’d like to download and then on the green download arrow. Each invoice is assigned an invoice number. The invoice number cannot be repeated or amended.
